About the Role

The role is based in Dungannon, reporting to the Operations Director, with a weekly schedule of 39 hours and 45 minutes. As a Production Area Manager you will oversee all operational activities within a designated sub‑assembly area, ensuring safe, efficient assembly and adherence to quality standards. You will lead the Group Leaders, Production Supervisors, Managers, and Team Members, managing people, processes, performance, and continuous‑improvement initiatives to meet production targets. Responsibilities include health, safety and environmental compliance, lean manufacturing implementation, and cost control. Key duties involve controlling day‑to‑day production flow, delivering on‑time output, maintaining zero‑defect quality for internal and external customers, and managing budgets and spend. You will implement and coach Terex Business System tools, oversee SWIP, maintain inventory through cycle checks, and ensure equipment reliability via TPM. • Oversee sub‑assembly operations ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards. • Lead and develop Group Leaders, Production Supervisors, and team members. • Implement lean manufacturing practices and the Terex Business System tools. • Control daily production flow, level‑pull, and on‑time delivery. • Manage production budgets, cost control, and spend within allocated limits. • Achieve zero‑defect quality for internal and external customers. • Maintain inventory accuracy through continuous cycle checking and reporting. • Ensure equipment reliability using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). • Drive continuous improvement using problem‑solving, visual management, and Kaizen techniques. • Apply strong communication, planning, and organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
