About the Role
• Inspect site conditions to confirm suitability for permanent works. • Conduct regular, thorough inspections of viaduct construction for quality and compliance. • Supervise construction activities to keep the project on schedule and identify deviations. • Verify structural components such as beams, columns, and supports meet engineering standards. • Examine materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project specifications. • Enforce safety protocols on‑site to protect workers and the public. • Analyze construction plans and specifications to anticipate challenges. • Inspect temporary works for compliance with approved methods and contracts. • Maintain accurate records of inspections, work performed, and observations. • Direct and mentor junior inspectors to ensure performance standards. • Measure work progress when required and assist with installation reviews. • Review as‑built drawings and assist in final inspections of completed works. • Prepare snag lists and coordinate handover to the operating authority. • Participate actively in health and safety initiatives as directed by the Resident Engineer. • Commit to safe work practices and effective stakeholder collaboration.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a talented Viaduct Inspector to join our Construction Supervision team on a Metro Rail project. The role involves overseeing viaduct construction to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. • Hold a Bachelor’s (4 + years) or Diploma (7 + years) in Civil/Structural Engineering with construction supervision experience. • Possess project experience in bridge or viaduct inspection, preferably in Dubai, UAE, or the GCC. • Demonstrate proficiency with inspection tools, surveying equipment, and structural analysis software. • Preferably have prior experience on a metro rail project. • Apply computer software knowledge and strong oral/written communication skills.
