About the Role
The Jacksonville, FL Project Engineer will supply technical engineering information to project supervision and crafts, ensuring all construction activities meet OSHA regulations, engineering standards, codes, and project specifications. The engineer will act as a liaison among subcontractors, suppliers, and the workforce to resolve technical issues and facilitate project progress. • Ensure construction crews comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. • Review project contracts, plans, and specifications in full. • Prepare project schedule and provide monthly updates. • Generate quantity reports, cash‑flow projections, and cost forecasts. • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce to resolve challenges, conflicts, or technical issues. • Prepare and submit prime and subcontractor change orders. • Manage document control, including submittal schedules, contract documents, and record drawings. • Maintain technical submittal lists, NPDES permits, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, and project progress schedules as required. • Comply with notice requirements such as inspections, staking, joint measurements, utility locations, testing, and claims. • Issue correspondence to subcontractors and vendors when revised plans or specifications affect products or services. • Assist with project closeout and perform additional assignments as directed by the Project Manager.

What You Bring
Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Engineering and Management, and have at least four years of experience in civil construction, either in office or field positions. Candidates may be subject to pre‑employment screening, background checks, and drug testing.
