About the Role
The role sits at the intersection of energy, technology and economic growth, driving Nova Scotia’s leadership in offshore wind, green hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel and critical minerals. You will help shape the province’s economic development by connecting new industrial and commercial customers to the electricity grid and providing strategic insights for cost‑effective grid connections. • Engage developers and large‑scale customers, guiding them through the grid connection process. • Identify cost‑effective grid‑connection approaches and prepare strategic insights. • Collaborate with government, economic development agencies, and industry stakeholders to accelerate growth. • Work with internal System Planning, Energy Delivery, Government Relations, and Regulatory teams to shape solutions. • Represent NS Power at industry events and stay abreast of renewable‑energy trends. • Deliver presentations on market developments to senior leadership. • Support community engagement via mentoring, volunteer programs, scholarships and employee resource groups.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Understand electrical systems and interconnection processes (Nova Scotia experience a plus). • Bring 5+ years of customer support, energy operations or technical leadership experience in utilities or related sectors. • Demonstrate strong analytical, data‑management, communication and relationship‑building skills. • Proficient with MS Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce; possess a growth mindset.
