About the Role

• Progress each project monthly to monitor project controls, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. • Report planned value, earned value, and % complete, providing project commentaries. • Attend project status meetings, report material status, and update forecast and schedule. • Summarize performance metrics and give direction/recommendations to resolve controls issues. • Develop, monitor, and update the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) owners. • Act as trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering guidance and recommendations. • Collaborate with project managers and construction firms to maintain schedule integrity. • Track and review change orders with project and cost management teams. • Produce monthly management reports. • Perform contract administration tasks (retention, T&Cs, insurance, allowances, contingency, incentives). • Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for team approval. • Conduct resource loading and leveling schedules. • Consolidate contractor schedules into the IMS. • Assess impacts on critical and near‑critical path activities and report to the team. • Monitor schedule deviations, propose corrective actions, and develop alternatives. • Review schedules regularly with project team to ensure accurate, timely data. • Facilitate interactive planning sessions and quantitative risk assessments as needed. • Maintain records of scope changes, trends, and variances affecting performance. • Liaise with clients and consultants throughout project stages. • Implement best practices and reporting trends internally and externally. • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

What You Bring

The role advertised is for a Project Controls Manager who will support cost and schedule controls on large construction projects or programmes. The ideal candidate is an ambitious construction professional with experience in project controls, reporting, schedule integrity and stakeholder advisory. • Knowledge of construction industry technical matters, procurement routes, value management and engineering. • Advanced spreadsheet, report writing, and presentation skills. • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. • Experience with cloud‑based software. • Preferred P6 scheduling knowledge. • Skilled in industry‑accepted cost, planning, and progress measurement applications. • Self‑motivated, proactive, highly organized, and able to coordinate and plan. • Strong multitasking, teamwork, and integration abilities. • Excellent oral and written English communication skills. • Full passport with no geographical limitations. • Experience in cost‑focused construction project controls on large, complex projects. • College degree in construction, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field. • Experience with cost‑loaded schedules. • Detailed knowledge of industry standards and methods.
