About the Role

The HazMat Industrial Services Driver/Technician is responsible for the safe transportation of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste streams to various generator sites, ensuring all operations comply with applicable regulations. This role also handles emergency response clean‑up projects for spills, maintaining safety and regulatory compliance throughout. Key duties include operating a range of light and heavy equipment such as tanker trucks, roll‑off containers, vacuum trucks, forklifts, skid steers, and pallet‑jacks. The technician responds to customer spills both during normal business hours and after hours, performs DOT pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, maintains vehicle logs, and manages LTL pickups as well as full truck loads. • Operate light and heavy equipment for waste clean‑up (tanker, roll‑off, vacuum trucks, forklifts, skid steer, etc.) • Respond to customer spills and emergencies during and after normal business hours • Perform DOT pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs • Conduct LTL pickups, full truck loads, and process hazardous and non‑hazardous materials • Maintain equipment, housekeeping, and documentation of manifests and work orders • Serve as technician on lab pack, field service, and industrial service projects • Prioritize tasks, stay focused, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively

What You Bring

The position requires a valid Class B commercial driver’s license and the ability to complete a 40‑hour HAZWOPER training program upon hire.
