Seamstress/Retail Assistant

About the Role

• Ensure clothing store inventory records are accurate • Receive, check, and acquit stores under supervision • Assist customers with kit issues • Prepare and process store documentation, maintaining warehouse records • Measure and fit customers for clothing items • Perform basic sewing tasks such as hemming, ironing, alterations, and medal mounting per Defence specifications • Maintain a strong customer‑service focus in all interactions

What You Bring

• Hold Australian citizenship • Demonstrate basic sewing skills • Have experience measuring and fitting garments • Possess previous retail or clothing store operations experience • Proven ability to schedule workloads and meet production deadlines • Confidently use the basic Microsoft Office suite for record‑keeping
