About the Role
The Day Porter (On Call) works under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor to perform a range of custodial duties for C&W Services, adhering to the company's established standards, instructions, and procedures. Key responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and washing interior floors and surfaces, operating commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines, vacuuming rugs, dusting furniture and fixtures, cleaning interior glass and windowsills, maintaining bathrooms, restocking supplies, monitoring for defects, managing trash removal, and performing snow removal and periodic high‑dusting or polishing tasks as directed. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors and surfaces using manual methods and commercial floor machines. • Vacuum rugs and carpets in offices and public areas; spot clean and shampoo rugs as directed. • Dust and clean furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and perform periodic high‑dusting. • Clean interior windowsills, glass panels, interior doors, partitions, and specified windows. • Spot‑clean interior walls and wash glass and trim at entrance doors. • Clean and restock bathrooms daily, including wiping glass, emptying waste, servicing dispensers, dusting sills, cleaning tiles, and scrubbing floors. • Monitor and report defects such as clogged urinals or non‑functional lights. • Collect building trash, replace liners, and place waste in designated containers for removal. • Sweep or shovel snow from building entrances and walkways as directed. • Perform periodic tasks such as high‑dusting, polishing leather/wood surfaces, and wall washing.

Benefits
Compensation is competitive, ranging from $19.76 to $23.25 per hour, with benefits that may include health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending and health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability coverage, and paid or unpaid time off.
