About the Role

The team tackles a wide range of initiatives, including re‑meandering rivers, nature recovery, wetland restoration, weir removals, and basin‑scale restoration planning across the UK and abroad. These projects integrate detailed design, construction supervision, and compliance with CDM regulations. • Lead planning, management, modelling and design of sustainable geomorphology and river restoration projects. • Oversee detailed design, construction supervision, and CDM compliance for river works. • Perform hydraulic, sediment‑transport, and geomorphological modelling. • Coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and manage client relationships. • Provide coaching and mentorship to junior staff. • Deliver project management and commercial responsibilities while ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Geomorphologist and River Restoration Project Lead to join our UK Water team. The role involves high‑quality project delivery, encompassing planning, management, modelling, and design of sustainable geomorphology and river restoration schemes, working with regulators, water companies, trusts, and developers both nationally and internationally. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree (geography, physical sciences, or engineering), proven river‑restoration experience, strong project‑delivery expertise, and excellent communication and leadership skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. • Degree in geography, physical sciences, engineering, or related field. • Proven experience in river restoration and project delivery. • Strong communication, engagement, and leadership skills with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
