About the Role
As a Fiber Splicer, you are responsible for producing end-to-end fiber optic networks, delivering high-quality work and embracing challenges. You will ensure network continuity and adhere to safety standards. • Test and troubleshoot fiber optic network continuity. • Operate testing equipment and resolve common fiber optic challenges. • Prepare fiber splice enclosures (Tyco, CommScope, Corning, etc.). • Apply fiber engineering knowledge of design, documentation, light levels, and dB loss. • Perform work on outdoor utility construction sites.

What You Bring

They thrive in collaborative environments and are ready to get their hands dirty on the job. • Use fusion splicer, OTDR (1310, 1550), DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, and power meter. • 3–5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience. • Comfortable working on ladders or bucket trucks. • MOS codes V80B, B05A, 3D157, 6423, 5699 relevant to the role.
