About the Role

• Gather user requirements and implement or expand AVEVA PI across multiple sites. • Participate in technical discussions and identify opportunities to standardize PI delivery processes. • Lead a PI development team, ensure on‑time project delivery, and nurture collaboration. • Identify missing data, evaluate PI server configurations, and assess data quality remotely. • Document gaps in existing PI infrastructure and optimize configurations to align with standards. • Develop specialized domain knowledge of relevant processes and systems. • Train and mentor new team members, providing hands‑on leadership for integration projects. • Facilitate meetings, track progress, and enforce adherence to PI integration standards. • Configure and install various PI interfaces (OPC, RDBMS, UFL) with failover and PI Buffer subsystems. • Troubleshoot PI Server, interfaces, AF Server, and PI client tools. • Collaborate effectively with diverse, geographically dispersed teams.

What You Bring

The position requires a deep understanding of user requirements and the ability to expand AVEVA PI across multiple locations while actively engaging in technical discussions to improve the PI project delivery framework. Candidates should have extensive experience with AVEVA PI implementation, including installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and integrations, and possess strong knowledge of PI architecture, interfaces, and related tools. Key technical competencies include configuring a variety of PI interfaces, troubleshooting server and client tools, and demonstrating solid Oracle or SQL database querying abilities. The role also demands strong collaboration across geographically dispersed teams, excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, effective communication, and a bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent technical qualification. • Demonstrate proficiency with PI AF, PI EF, Notifications, PI Vision, PI Web API, integrators, connectors, and adapters. • Understand AVEVA PI and ISA‑95 architectures. • Possess strong Oracle/SQL database querying skills. • Apply strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. • Hold a B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent technical degree.
