About the Role

The Project Manager will work in Nikkiso ACD’s Project Management Department in Santa Ana, CA, reporting to the Lead Project Manager. The role oversees full‑life‑cycle project management for a variety of customers, establishing scope, allocating resources, and ensuring customer satisfaction while delivering projects on budget and schedule. • Identify project stakeholders and define their needs and expectations. • Coordinate schedule, budget, and risk management activities for assigned projects. • Plan, schedule, and monitor project work to ensure timely delivery. • Perform cost accounting and manage risk/opportunity assessments. • Maintain regular communication with clients and equipment vendors. • Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve project issues. • Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and properly stored. • Facilitate communication and coordination across Nikkiso disciplines and external participants. • Generate project schedules, budgets, statements of work, and status reports. • Provide monthly project status updates and day‑to‑day client communications. • Implement and track project budgets and schedules. • Create and revise work plans to adapt to changing requirements. • Apply project methodology and enforce standards consistently. • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, adjusting plans as needed. • Apply advanced knowledge of project management standards and best practices. • Evaluate performance situations quickly and accurately. • Motivate team members to achieve high performance. • Resolve conflicts and promote organizational effectiveness. • Manage change and maintain strong customer relations. • Conduct negotiations with strong effectiveness.

What You Bring

The position is primarily office‑based but may require travel to client sites, production facilities, or construction locations, with occasional overtime on weekdays, weekends, nights, or holidays. Physical demands include standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 30 lb. Employees must complete safety training, wear required PPE, and comply with Nikkiso’s cryogenic safety policies; reasonable accommodations are provided under the ADA. Candidates need at least four years of engineering product or project management experience; a bachelor’s degree and PMP certification are preferred. Salary range is $80,000–$110,000 per year.
