About the Role
The Asset Manager Lead will oversee a full‑time Asset Management contract performance team and enhance existing asset‑management strategies, condition surveys, inventories and risk hierarchies. Responsibilities include developing whole‑life cost optimisation methodologies, assessing data requirements for data‑driven decisions, evaluating climate‑change risk, and implementing robust change‑ and configuration‑management processes. The role also demands stakeholder engagement, knowledge‑transfer programs, succession planning, supply‑chain review, and support for Qatarisation and national development strategies. • Lead and manage a full‑time Asset Management contract performance team. • Review and improve asset management strategies, condition surveys, inventories and risk hierarchies. • Develop methodologies to optimise whole‑life costs of road and drainage assets. • Implement data‑driven decision‑making frameworks and assess climate‑change risk. • Establish change‑management, configuration‑management and systems‑engineering processes for asset upgrades. • Drive stakeholder engagement and knowledge‑transfer programmes across the contract period. • Oversee supply‑chain optimisation and support Qatarisation and national development strategies.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (post‑graduate or doctoral qualifications are an asset) and possess the required Chartered status and professional licences. A minimum of 25 years of relevant experience, including at least 15 years in a senior leadership role, is required, with at least 8 years of experience gained in North America, Western Europe, Australia or an equivalent market. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business tools is expected, along with experience developing and implementing quality management systems such as ISO 55001. These skills support daily business needs and the delivery of high‑quality asset‑management services. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Post‑graduate or doctoral preferred) with relevant Chartered status. • Bring at least 25 years of experience (15 years in senior leadership) with international exposure in North America, Western Europe or Australia. • Proficient in English (Arabic advantageous) and experienced with ISO 55001 QMS implementation.
