About the Role
The role involves leading and growing an Aviation team, building client relationships, reviewing design documents for airside and landside projects, and preparing analysis reports to support airport planning, design, and construction. Leadership duties include operating with integrity, setting vision and business strategy, establishing goals, maintaining open communication, and mentoring staff while managing projects profitably and transitioning work to qualified personnel. • Lead and grow an Aviation practice and team in Orlando. • Review airside and landside design documents, including grading, drainage, pavement, specifications, and safety plans. • Prepare analysis reports for airport planning, design, and construction. • Build and maintain positive client relationships; ensure open communication. • Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, and mentor team members. • Manage and mentor staff, allocate resources effectively.

What You Bring
Candidates must have over 10 years of experience managing airport design and construction projects, a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, strong AutoCAD Civil3D skills, and a background in business development, proposal writing, and budgeting. Effective communication at all organizational levels, staff management, and a proven record of profitable land development are also required. • 10+ years managing airport design and construction projects. • Hold a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Experience in business development, proposal writing, scoping, and budgeting. • Communicate positively at all organizational levels. • Demonstrated profitable land development project management.
