About the Role

Your day‑to‑day duties will involve servicing and maintaining heavy diesel machinery, diagnosing faults, providing breakdown support and performing field service work that may require travel to sites such as Bathurst, Eastern Creek, Mogo and Newcastle. You will also operate and maintain asphalt and earth‑moving equipment, contributing to a high‑performing team environment. • Travel to sites such as Bathurst, Eastern Creek, Mogo, and Newcastle. • Service and maintain heavy diesel equipment, trucks, and engines. • Diagnose faults and provide breakdown support. • Perform field service work and travel as needed. • Operate and maintain asphalt and earth‑moving equipment (e.g., stabilisers, skid steers, loaders, pavers, spray trucks). • Contribute to a safe, respectful, and high‑performing team.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification, a current forklift licence and preferably an MR/HR truck licence, with experience in hydraulics and auto‑electrical systems considered an advantage. Strong problem‑solving abilities, a proactive mindset, flexibility for day and night shifts, and a commitment to safety and teamwork are essential. • Hold a trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic. • Possess a current Forklift Licence (required). • Have an MR/HR Truck Licence (preferred). • Experience with hydraulics and auto‑electrical systems (advantageous). • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive mindset.
