About the Role
Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the store, performing daily tasks both inside the aisles and in external areas such as trolley bays. • Operate cleaning machinery and equipment. • Perform thorough mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping, and surface cleaning. • Clean toilets, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and other in‑store areas. • Maintain external trolley bays free of leaves and debris. • Follow all health and safety procedures. • Provide a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect app.

What You Bring

The fixed‑term position runs until March 2026, offering 24 hours per week at £12.21 hourly and an immediate start. Sainsbury’s stores operate seven days a week, and Arcus provides a variety of shift patterns, including five‑ and six‑day weeks with early‑morning, morning, afternoon and evening shifts. The current schedule is 05:00‑09:00 on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday‑Saturday, with Tuesday off, and additional overtime hours may be available.
