About the Role
• Build distributed, API‑driven systems serving tens of thousands of users • Write robust, efficient, maintainable code using C#, .NET Framework, JSON, SQL Server, and AWS • Lead software design, development standards, and code reviews • Evaluate emerging technologies to improve CoStar’s platform and practices • Design and develop using OOP principles and design patterns for reusability and maintainability • Deliver defect‑free, performant work products that meet specifications • Facilitate developer discussions, introduce new technologies, and build consensus

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited, not‑for‑profit university • Proven track record of launching products/platforms handling terabytes of data for millions of users • 5+ years deep .NET (C#) development experience, including Web API • 3+ years of database design, T‑SQL programming, and performance tuning • Experience with application performance testing and unit testing strategies • Strong software development skills for large‑scale, mission‑critical infrastructure applications • Solid understanding of HTTP concepts (status codes, headers, etc.) • Demonstrated commitment to prior employers • Experience with .NET Core • Willingness to mentor other developers • Knowledge of NPM and NuGet • Experience with AWS or Azure
