About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will oversee projects from planning through final design, reporting, and construction support, directing complex studies and investigations with advanced engineering techniques. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality for large, multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with clients, staff, and regulatory agencies, and mentoring engineers and technical staff to ensure consistent, high‑quality outcomes. Staying abreast of current and pending regulations is essential to keep designs compliant and forward‑looking. • Lead water resources design projects from planning through construction support • Supervise complex studies using advanced engineering techniques • Deliver resilient solutions for reservoirs, detention basins, stormwater, flood reduction, and coastal hardening • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality for large, multidisciplinary projects • Coordinate with clients, staff, and regulatory agencies to secure approvals • Mentor engineers and technical staff to ensure consistent, high‑quality work • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulations and emerging technologies • Support Florida market growth through client relationships and proposal development

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a B.S. in Engineering, be a licensed Professional Engineer, and have at least eight years of relevant experience, including independent decision‑making on engineering problems. Required expertise includes delivering water resources design projects in Florida and recognized technical proficiency. Preferred experience encompasses off‑channel reservoirs, large detention basins, stormwater detention, flood risk reduction, coastal hardening, scope and fee development, QA/QC leadership, and coordination with permitting agencies. • Required: B.S. in Engineering, PE license, 8+ years of relevant experience • Preferred: experience with off‑channel reservoirs, large detention basins, flood risk reduction, coastal hardening, and QA/QC leadership
