About the Role
The Senior Architect role in Qatar will lead the architectural design of infrastructure and utility building projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards while delivering high‑quality, coordinated solutions. The incumbent will oversee the entire design lifecycle—from feasibility studies and proposal development to final approvals—and coordinate closely with project managers, clients, and the architectural design manager. • Communicate regularly with project managers, team members, and clients to update status and resolve technical issues. • Coordinate work assignments, set priorities, and direct subordinate staff. • Collaborate with the architectural design manager to establish team policies, procedures, and guidelines. • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and design concepts. • Prepare feasibility reports and design proposals based on TOR, client needs, codes, and environmental impact. • Gather requirements, design, and implement client specifications. • Control projects from inception to completion, ensuring innovative, functional, and high‑quality design. • Utilize 3D visualization tools to enhance project presentations. • Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and design documents for code compliance. • Finalize designs within budget and schedule while staying current on industry trends. • Maintain valid MMUP registration. • Provide a portfolio that showcases design and artistic skills. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university. • Bring at least 10 years of architectural design experience, including 5 years in a senior role within the GCC. • Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of Qatar local building codes and applicable international standards. • Show fluency in English (written and verbal) and the ability to produce technical documentation. • Preferable QCDD and GSAS registrations. • Advanced proficiency in Revit and other relevant design tools. • Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
