About the Role
Core duties include managing small Intelligent Integration crews, reading blueprints and specifications, coordinating with construction teams, trade partners and customers, and planning work scopes and material orders. The foreman oversees cable, fiber, fire alarm, security, AV, building automation and network installations, tracks labor hours, maintains tools, and leads safety and quality initiatives. Production goals, crew sizes, documentation, supplier coordination, and inspection scheduling are also managed. • Manages small crews of employees delivering Intelligent Integration work. • Functions as an interface with construction operations team, various trade partners, and customers. • Plans and schedules designated work scopes and orders appropriate materials to ensure cost and schedule are maintained. • Provides oversight and performs technical installations including cable installation and termination, fiber optic splicing, feeder cross connectivity, communication room buildout, and patching. • Acts as a subject matter expert in one or more technical systems and integrates connections between cable, fire alarm, security, AV, building automation, and network infrastructure. • Tracks and reports labor hours. • Maintains proper care of tools and equipment needed for project-specific technical installations. • Leads and monitors safety and security procedures within the crew. • Establishes crew sizes that align with production goals. • Documents key information such as activities, productions, and crew sizes. • Communicates with suppliers and coordinates delivery of supplies to the jobsite. • Supports project QA/QC planning to ensure quality for assigned tasks. • Participates in safety activities such as toolbox talks, job hazard analysis, job site analysis, and SIMS reporting. • Creates and implements safety plans and ensures compliance through training, toolbox talks, and communication with safety representatives. • Provides on‑the‑job guidance and shares expertise to support team member learning and development. • Coordinates inspections for assigned scope of work. • Creates, communicates, monitors and achieves crew production goals.

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED, with a vocational or technical degree preferred, and possess 1+ year of commercial construction and 2+ years of field supervision experience. BICSI certification or four years of cable‑pulling experience is advantageous. Required skills include proficiency with MS Office and project‑management software, strong knowledge of a technical system, ability to read plans, apply Lean processes, and lead crews while ensuring safety. The role may require lifting up to 50 lb, non‑traditional hours, travel and exposure to extreme conditions, and offers a professional non‑union benefits package.
