About the Role

The Operations Supervisor – Recycling Center reports to the Operations Manager and General Manager and is responsible for overseeing recycling and post‑collection activities across the center. This role directs dispatchers, operations clerks, drivers, sorters, helpers and equipment operators to ensure efficient operations. Key duties include removing unsafe conditions, partnering with maintenance to keep equipment safe, and managing accident‑prevention programs. The supervisor delivers exceptional customer service, resolves unusual service requests and equipment breakdowns, and sets productivity goals while controlling labor hours and disposal costs. Additionally, the supervisor creates a collaborative environment, drives employee engagement, and builds talent for future advancement. • Eliminate unsafe conditions and enforce accident‑prevention programs • Coordinate equipment maintenance to ensure safety compliance • Deliver high‑quality customer service and resolve service issues promptly • Set and monitor productivity goals, manage labor hours and disposal expenses • Lead a diverse team, foster employee engagement and develop talent • Collaborate with Operations and General Managers to achieve budgetary targets • Support fleet quality and maintenance in coordination with the maintenance department

What You Bring

Successful candidates can direct large staff, are process‑ and results‑oriented, and possess strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. They demonstrate ethical behavior, collaborative teamwork, and creative thinking, with at least one year of supervisory experience and a high‑school diploma. Benefits

The position offers a salary range of $93,900 to $129,150, adjusted for locality, plus an annual incentive bonus targeting 10% of base pay.
