About the Role

The Senior Product Engineer supports the Smyrna or Charlotte satellite facilities by performing administrative, engineering/technical, supply chain, and sales functions. In this role, you will ensure the manufacturing of high-quality power distribution products and prepare all required drawings and manufacturing information, including mechanical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material. You will maintain positive regional client relationships regarding technical specifications, product applications, approval requests, and job-site visits. The engineer also manages Customer Quality (CQM) warranty issues, providing troubleshooting and engineering support for shipped products. Additionally, you will proactively manage inventory and purchase orders to keep the production schedule on track and assist with scheduling satellite and service-center products according to customer needs and plant capacity. • Execute administrative, engineering, supply chain, and sales functions for satellite facilities. • Ensure high-quality power distribution product manufacturing. • Prepare mechanical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material. • Maintain regional client relationships for specifications, applications, approvals, and site visits. • Manage Customer Quality (CQM) warranty issues with troubleshooting and engineering support. • Proactively handle inventory and purchase orders to meet production schedules. • Assist scheduling of satellite and service-center products based on demand and capacity.

What You Bring

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates must have at least two years of product engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with co-ops and internships counting toward the minimum one-year requirement. Preferred qualifications include PMP certification, experience managing new product development projects, and knowledge of program and project management methodologies, processes, and tools. Experience with panelboard/switchboard product lines and controls engineering is also desired. Only applicants within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered, although active‑duty military service members are exempt from this limitation. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
