About the Role

The position supports a broad portfolio of testing and consulting services, including property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs for existing structures. Projects may involve inspections of building enclosures, air‑leakage testing, construction quality‑assurance observations, roofing assessments, design‑specification reviews, field performance testing, and commissioning consulting. You will also contribute occasional field and laboratory testing as needed. Key responsibilities include preparing reports, proposals, and project documentation, scheduling and overseeing facilities technicians, and mentoring junior staff. You will interact with senior staff on a variety of projects while exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time‑management, and self‑motivation. Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE is also essential. • Conduct building enclosure inspections and testing • Perform air‑leakage and field performance tests • Provide construction quality‑assurance observations • Assess roofing conditions and review design specifications • Assist in preparing reports, proposals, and project documentation • Schedule and oversee facilities technicians • Mentor junior staff and promote safety practices • Collaborate with senior staff on diverse projects • Lead high‑profile, technically complex projects • Participate in employee ownership (ESOP) and 401(k) with up to 4% match

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least a High School Diploma or GED; a B.Arch, M.Arch (NCARB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or a related ABET‑accredited field is preferred. You should have 0–2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience, or alternatively four years of ECS Facilities Staff experience, with non‑destructive testing experience considered a plus. • Hold a High School Diploma/GED; B.Arch, M.Arch (NCARB) or BS in Engineering/Building Science preferred • Possess 0–2 years of building facilities consulting experience • Alternatively, have 4 years of ECS Facilities Staff experience • Experience with non‑destructive testing is a plus
