About the Role
• Lead and support electrical engineering design for power generation projects. • Lead and support electrical engineering design for renewable energy projects. • Lead and support upgrades of power plant and switchyard electrical systems. • Lead and support federal electrical system upgrades. • Mentor and teach junior engineers. • Develop project proposals and budgets. • Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. • 3+ years detailed electrical design experience, including calculations and equipment specifications. • 3+ years experience in relay coordination and schematic design. • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. • Proficiency with CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software. • Proven safety record and ability to follow WSP’s health, safety, and conduct policies. • Willingness to travel occasionally based on project requirements. • Master’s degree in Engineering and essential professional licensure. • Experience leading a group of engineers. • 3+ years design or owners‑engineering experience in generating facilities or substations.

The expected salary range for all locations is $73,100 – $125,400, with the final offer based on education, experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic location. WSP reserves the right to adjust compensation and offer additional benefits regardless of protected status. • Flexibility to work schedules beyond a typical workweek as project needs dictate.
