About the Role
The Human Resources Manager will be based in Lancaster, PA, reporting to the Philadelphia Main division. This salaried exempt position manages the full employment life cycle—including recruiting, employee relations, talent management, training, and benefits—for one or more business units, and supervises HR Generalists/Administrators across locations. The manager oversees HR operations across business units, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements while supervising a team of HR professionals. • Promote company culture, values, and diversity & inclusion initiatives, including anti‑racism learning and employee wellbeing. • Act as a trusted HR advisor, interpreting policies, procedures, and legal requirements for management and employees. • Define regional HR goals and recommend continuous‑improvement policies to enhance departmental efficiency. • Foster an extraordinary employee experience by engaging regularly on‑site and supporting business‑unit leadership. • Provide timely performance feedback and conduct performance appraisals using talent‑management systems. • Lead talent acquisition, including campus recruiting, experienced hires, internal mobility, and onboarding. • Oversee recruitment processes, develop sourcing strategies with hiring managers, and conduct preliminary screenings. • Review job applications and select candidates in collaboration with department heads.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, at least seven years of progressive HR experience with three years in a supervisory capacity, and preferably HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM‑CP; experience in construction or large organizations is also valued. Physical demands include frequent sitting, computer work, occasional on‑site visits, and lifting up to 25 lb. The work environment ranges from quiet office settings to moderate‑to‑loud construction sites, and regular travel is required. • Hold a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years progressive HR experience with 3 years supervisory experience. • Possess or prefer HR certifications (PHR, SHRM‑CP) and experience in construction or large‑scale organizations. • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, a continuous‑improvement mindset, and ability to challenge the status quo. • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills at all organizational levels. • Be a self‑starter with advanced HR systems, project‑management expertise, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Travel regularly and adapt to shifting priorities within a lean, continuous‑improvement culture.
