Job Highlights
About the Role
The role’s essential responsibilities include developing relay settings and protection philosophy, reviewing panel, wiring, protection, control, network, and communication design drawings, troubleshooting and field testing substation SCADA panels, and designing SCADA communication drawings. Travel, potentially international, up to 30% may be required. • Develop relay settings and protection philosophy for substations. • Review and validate panel, wiring, protection, control, network, and communication design drawings. • Troubleshoot and field‑test SCADA panels and related equipment. • Design SCADA communication drawings and configure industrial communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3.0, IEC 61850, etc.).

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields and have experience in SCADA system design, industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3.0, IEC 61850), networking device configuration, and ASPEN. Preferred experience includes configuring Beckwith, Calisto, RTAC, and Orion RTU devices, as well as strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and travel up to 30% is required. • Travel up to 30% of the time, including potential international sites. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. • Experience designing SCADA systems in the renewable energy sector. • Proficient with networking devices, ASPEN, and configuring Beckwith, Calisto, RTAC, and Orion RTU devices. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
