About the Role
The Controls Pre‑sales Engineer will support global Building Automation System (BAS) projects, aligning with country‑specific standards. Responsibilities include preparing technical assessments, developing bill of materials, and generating cost estimates to produce competitive bids while maintaining high quality and on‑time delivery. The role also involves reviewing project specifications, participating in kickoff meetings, and ensuring compliance documentation. • Support pre‑sales engineering for global Building Automation System projects, preparing technical assessments and cost estimates • Review project specifications, MEP drawings, and identify HVAC equipment, sensors, and controls • Participate in kickoff and review meetings, manage technical queries, compliance and risk logs, and record minutes • Create BAS network architecture and select appropriate hardware, software, sensors, control valves, and controllers • Ensure quality assurance, defect‑free deliverables, on‑time delivery, and timesheet compliance

What You Bring
Ideal candidates hold a BE or ME degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics or Communications and possess strong knowledge of HVAC systems and BMS architecture. Familiarity with network protocols such as BACnet, LON, Modbus and OPC, as well as experience in wiring, PLC programming or SCADA, is essential. Experience in engineering, installing and commissioning HVAC and BMS for infrastructure projects like hospitals, airports or commercial buildings is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate quick learning, problem‑solving, effective communication and leadership capabilities. • Hold a BE/ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics or Communications • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and BMS architecture • Familiarity with BACnet, LON, Modbus, OPC and related network protocols • Proficiency in wiring starters, field devices, safety interlocks, and panels • Experience engineering, installing and commissioning HVAC & BMS for infrastructure projects • Background in automation (PLC programming/SCADA) and quick problem‑solving ability • Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills
