About the Role
Drivers operate heavy‑duty trucks equipped with front, side, or rear‑end lift attachments, transporting waste or recyclables to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities once the legal load capacity is reached. Roles include commercial drivers who pick up container loads, residential drivers who collect household waste, and roll‑off drivers who load and move large open‑top containers, all requiring skilled backing maneuvers in congested or tight environments. • Operate vehicle following WM Safety, OSHA, DOT regulations and all applicable laws. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and complete DVIR documentation. • Immediately report unsafe conditions or service issues to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Attend all required training programs, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to improve route efficiency and share best practices. • Notify management of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage. • Report service interruptions such as closed streets, heavy receptacles, or safety hazards. • Communicate customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Dump all receptacles and leave the site clean and free of debris. • Follow assigned routes and complete end‑of‑day paperwork and check‑out. • Perform scheduled duties and assist other drivers to meet customer needs.

What You Bring
Travel by air or access to federal property may require a REAL ID or an approved TSA alternative; candidates must be willing to obtain or already hold the necessary identification. • Have at least 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving experience within the past 7 years. • Be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the country of employment. • Hold a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver License with an air‑brake endorsement. • Preferred: High School Diploma or GED. • Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking, and hearing as required.

Pay Range: $22 per hour. The shift runs Monday through Friday, starting at 4 am and ending at the close of the shift.
