About the Role

In this role, you will install and commission a variety of building systems under general supervision, following codes, engineering drawings, and company procedures. You will work with prime electrical contractors, develop positive customer interfaces, and ensure successful system installation and checkout. Key duties include installing raceways, cables, and wiring to meet code requirements, mounting and terminating control equipment, performing electrical estimates, checking wiring with test instruments, completing documentation, and communicating progress to management. You will also provide feedback to engineering, resolve site conflicts, and adhere to Johnson Controls safety policies. • Perform installation and checkout of building control systems following codes and engineering drawings. • Install raceways, cables, and wiring; mount and terminate control equipment. • Conduct electrical estimates for retrofit projects and validate termination points. • Test field‑installed equipment using volt meters and handheld testers. • Complete time sheets, expense reports, and on‑site documentation. • Communicate job progress, needs, and issues to management and customers. • Provide feedback to JCI Engineering and keep as‑built drawings up to date. • Resolve installation conflicts on‑site or escalate to management. • Follow Johnson Controls Zero Harm safety policies.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has completed an electrical apprenticeship or formal training, can read and interpret drawings, and possesses knowledge of local control codes.
