About the Role

This full-time Material Handler role supports industrial construction and maintenance projects by receiving, inventorying, storing, and issuing materials while ensuring equipment inspections and safety compliance. The position is classified as maintenance work and does not include per-diem pay. Key duties include tracking incoming stock, unpacking and placing items in designated locations, notifying departments of arrivals, maintaining up-to-date inventory records, labeling goods, and keeping work areas clean and safe. The handler also inspects materials for damage, records usage, and provides guidance to other warehouse personnel. • Receive, count, and inventory incoming stock items. • Unpack delivered goods and store them in appropriate locations. • Notify or deliver items to the relevant department upon arrival. • Maintain continuous inventory tracking and update records regularly. • Organize materials in warehouses, tool rooms, and supply areas. • Label goods using tags, stamps, or electronic labeling equipment. • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas for safety compliance. • Determine proper storage methods based on turnover, environmental factors, and facility capabilities. • Record usage and any damage to stock or handling equipment. • Inspect stock for wear or defects and report issues to supervisors. • Assist and provide direction to other warehouse or storage personnel.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least four years of warehouse or material-handler experience in an industrial construction or turnaround setting, a TWIC card, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license. Required skills include accurate counting, strong written and verbal communication, SAP proficiency, and the ability to use hand tools for crate handling. The role values prior Zachry experience, formal technical education, forklift certification, and a commitment to safety and company values.
