About the Role

In this role the Account Executive will expand NORESCO’s market share, lead client engagement, acquire new customers, and grow existing accounts by leveraging technical expertise to sell sustainability and decarbonization solutions. Collaboration with internal experts, crafting winning proposals, and guiding clients through the buying process are core activities. • Drive growth and expand market share in the New York City metro area. • Build and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers and existing clients. • Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline and qualify opportunities. • Create winning proposal strategies and guide clients through the buying process. • Collaborate with internal experts and leadership to deliver sustainability solutions. • Monitor industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market insights. • Provide executive‑level briefings and maintain detailed CRM documentation.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least seven years of sales, business development, or consulting experience in professional services or energy engineering, with a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is highly preferred. Success requires strong relationships with senior stakeholders, knowledge of local energy ordinances and utility incentives, and excellent communication, presentation, and public‑speaking abilities. • Required: 7+ years of sales, business development, or technical engineering experience; high school diploma or GED. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; deep knowledge of local energy ordinances (LL84‑LL97) and utility incentive programs. • Demonstrated strong presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills.
