About the Role

The Investor Relations (IR) team communicates Equinix’s business strategy and results to capital markets, serving as a best‑in‑class resource for investors and analysts while acting as a strategic partner to senior management. Working closely with the Vice President of IR, the role helps direct all facets of the IR function and represent the company as a spokesperson. • Develop and manage quarterly earnings materials, including decks, scripts, Q&A, and releases. • Create external messaging for company strategy, M&A activities, and other events. • Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and sell‑side analysts. • Prepare investor engagement materials for conferences, shareholder meetings, and key events. • Provide senior management with updates on stock performance, analyst forecasts, and industry trends. • Collaborate with communications, finance, legal, and product teams on messaging and projects. • Lead the evolution of metrics disclosure, ensuring data reliability and integrity. • Leverage AI technology to anticipate investor questions and tailor messaging. • Oversee the Investor Relations content on the corporate website. • Build effective cross‑functional internal relationships and handle confidential information with integrity.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS or Master’s degree, extensive experience in investor relations, equity research, finance, or corporate development, and strong financial analysis, communication, and presentation skills. A background in the technology sector, familiarity with REITs, and the ability to build cross‑functional relationships are also important, along with high integrity and a resourceful, team‑oriented mindset. • Hold a BA/BS or Master’s degree (preferred) and 5‑7+ years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate outstanding financial and investment analysis, oral and written communication, and presentation abilities. • Exhibit strong analytical, problem‑solving, and multi‑timeline management skills. • Understand financial modeling techniques used by analysts to value the company’s stock. • Possess knowledge of strategic communication, public relations, marketing, and media. • Have experience in the technology sector (telecom, networking, data centers) and REITs (plus).

Compensation is competitive, with target pay ranges varying by location (e.g., $186K‑$280K in Redwood City, $155K‑$233K in Dallas, and CAD $131K‑$181K in Toronto) and includes eligibility for bonuses and equity.
