About the Role
The Cleaner – 2nd Shift works under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor to perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services, following established standards, instructions, and procedures. Key duties include sweeping, mopping, and washing interior floors using both light and heavy commercial buffers and shampoo machines; vacuuming rugs in offices and public areas; spot‑cleaning and shampooing rugs as directed; dusting and cleaning furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces, including periodic high dusting; washing interior windowsills, glass partitions, and specified windows, as well as entrance glass and trim; spot‑cleaning interior walls daily and performing periodic wall washing; cleaning and restocking bathrooms, monitoring defects such as clogged urinals or out‑of‑order lights, and reporting them; collecting building trash, replacing liners, and placing waste in approved containers; sweeping or shoveling snow from entrances and walkways; and performing periodic tasks such as high dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors; operate commercial buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean and shampoo rugs as directed. • Dust and clean furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, doors, light fixtures, and high surfaces. • Wash interior windowsills, glass partitions, and specified windows; clean entrance glass and trim. • Spot clean interior walls daily and perform periodic wall washing. • Clean and restock bathrooms, including wiping glass, emptying waste, servicing dispensers, and scrubbing floors. • Monitor and report defects such as clogged urinals or out‑of‑order lights. • Collect building trash, replace liners, and place waste in approved containers. • Sweep or shovel snow from building entrances and walkways as directed. • Perform periodic tasks like high dusting, leather/wood polishing, and wall washing. • Follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate as part of a team. • Operate portable backpack vacuum and other cleaning equipment safely. • Maintain attention to detail, organization, high energy, and endurance.

Benefits
Compensation is $14.45‑$17.00 per hour, with competitive pay that may vary based on location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements.
