About the Role
As the Supervising Mechanical Engineer, you will act as the Engineer of Record on assigned projects, lead coordination meetings, and supervise staff in delivering design and construction solutions. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, and staff management while ensuring high‑quality engineering outcomes. Key duties include establishing design standards, preparing technical reports, maintaining interdisciplinary coordination, and managing construction administration such as field reports, RFIs, and bulletins. You will also conduct employee evaluations, contribute to the Technical Leadership Committee, and support technical training and mentoring initiatives. • Act as Engineer of Record and lead project coordination meetings. • Supervise and assign tasks to staff while managing budgets and schedules. • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects. • Prepare technical reports and analyze system options and building conditions. • Maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and consultants. • Oversee construction administration, including field reports, RFIs, bulletins, and addenda. • Conduct periodic employee evaluations and contribute to the Technical Leadership Committee. • Assist Technical Manager and Chief Engineer in technical training and staff mentoring.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a current PE license, have healthcare design experience, and possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. The role requires at least 12 years of consulting MEP experience, three years of supervisory experience, and strong hands‑on design and CAD/Revit skills. • Hold a current PE license with healthcare design experience. • Possess 12+ years of consulting MEP experience and 3+ years of supervisory experience. • Demonstrate hands‑on design proficiency using CAD/Revit tools. • Enjoy half‑day work‑from‑home Fridays throughout the year.
