About the Role

Under general supervision, the engineer will collect and analyze data from site surveys, blueprints, schematics, and computer-generated reports to support project development, design, and construction. They will perform basic mechanical engineering tasks such as researching and inspecting site conditions, equipment, and systems for compliance with codes and permits, and provide entry‑level technical assistance on load calculations, design requirements, and operating strategies. Additional duties include verifying site characteristics, preparing documentation and specifications using electronic systems, and adhering to safety guidelines and site‑specific procedures. • Provide technical assistance for design, development, testing, and inspection of mechanical systems in public and private projects. • Conduct research, site surveys, and data analysis to support project design and construction. • Perform basic engineering tasks including load calculations, equipment integration, and compliance inspections. • Generate accurate documentation, specifications, and reports using electronic tools and drawing software. • Adhere to safety guidelines, company policies, and ethical standards. • Collaborate independently and within team environments to meet project objectives.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline) and 0–1 year of post‑education experience. Candidates should have strong research and analytical skills, familiarity with design/build processes, relevant mechanical codes and regulations, and basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, and design tools such as AutoCAD. Interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, self‑leadership, and a proven safety record are also essential. The position requires eligibility to work in the United States immediately and may involve occasional travel and flexible schedules. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) with 0‑1 year of experience. • Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and self‑leadership skills; proficiency in AutoCAD and technical writing. • Familiarity with mechanical codes, regulations, and design/build processes. • Preferred: Engineer in Training certification, relevant internships, and professional organization involvement.
