About the Role
The role’s main purpose is to act as Commission Manager, delivering end‑to‑end cost‑management services that meet client objectives from pre‑contract through handover, while building trust and enhancing the firm’s reputation. • Prepare and present cost estimates and final cost plans. • Produce complete Bills of Quantities and tender documentation. • Manage tendering and procurement: pre‑qualification, tender lists, preambles, preliminaries, queries, analysis, tender reports and contractual documents. • Handle post‑contract cost variances and change‑control processes. • Conduct cost checks and valuations on large projects, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. • Create and deliver pre‑contract, post‑contract and ad‑hoc reports to clients. • Negotiate with contractors and agree final accounts. • Coordinate with clients, contractors and consultants throughout all project stages. • Lead cost‑management teams where required to meet all accountabilities.

What You Bring
• Extensive knowledge of the Real Estate/Property sector within a professional cost consultancy. • Pre‑contract experience from feasibility studies to tendering, measurement, estimating, report writing, Bills of Quantities and tender documentation. • Familiarity with various procurement methods, including single stage, two stage and design‑and‑build. • Post‑contract expertise covering interim applications, change management, variation valuation and extension‑of‑time claims. • Experience with standard form contracts, preferably FIDIC, and contract administration procedures. • Proven client‑facing skills with confidence presenting to clients, consultants and stakeholders. • Ability to engage confidently with contractor personnel. • Report writing proficiency for estimate, cost, procurement and tender reports. • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. • MRICS membership. • Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience. • Prior UAE experience (essential). • Essential post‑contract experience. • Strongly preferred consultancy background. • Good knowledge of construction technical matters, procurement routes, value management and value engineering. • Preferred knowledge of CostX software. • Preferred knowledge of BIM.
