About the Role

A Relief Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, providing prompt, courteous waste removal services. The driver ensures the vehicle complies with safety standards, adheres to all company, state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects. • Perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Operate the collection truck safely along assigned routes and to disposal sites. • Use manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per procedures. • Monitor waste for unacceptable materials. • Clean accidental waste spills following safety standards. • Continuously monitor vehicle condition and clean packer blade and truck body. • Complete route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports as required. • Meet departmental productivity standards to service customers efficiently. • Follow all safety policies and procedures. • Participate actively in the ReSOP safety program. • Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and honesty. • Follow through on work schedules and address challenges promptly. • Adhere to company policies, promote safety standards, and avoid risky behavior. • Utilize health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Participate in Employee and Family Assistance Program. • Purchase company stock through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

What You Bring

• Manage time effectively to complete responsibilities safely. • Possess at least two years of commercial truck driving experience (preferred). • Hold a Class B (or higher) CDL with air‑brake endorsement.
