About the Role

The Technician 2 is responsible for advanced repairs on a wide range of equipment, including generators, HVAC systems, air compressors, and dehumidifiers. In the absence of a Shop Foreman or Service Manager, the role may also lead and train other team members. Physical duties involve bending, squatting, lifting 25 lb or more, and working both indoors and outdoors as required. • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex pump and power equipment issues. • Perform advanced mechanical and electrical repairs on generators, HVAC, compressors, and dehumidifiers. • Lead and train team members in equipment repair when supervisory staff are absent. • Maintain compliance with DOT physical, driver’s license, and EPA 608 certification requirements. • Provide solutions that meet customer needs and scope service requirements.

What You Bring

Applicants need 5–7 years of experience maintaining pump and power equipment, a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record, a DOT physical examination, and EPA Section 608 universal certification. Desired knowledge includes advanced mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems, refrigeration, load‑bank repairs, and familiarity with VFDs, VSDs, soft starts, and across‑the‑line motor starting.
