About the Role

The Data Center Solutions (DCS)/Silent‑Aire Procurement Specialist is responsible for tactical procurement of commodities, supplies, equipment, and services. Responsibilities include managing purchase requisitions, conducting bids and price comparisons, maintaining vendor files, processing invoices, and supporting continuous improvement of supply‑chain systems while coordinating with supervisors to keep appropriate inventory levels. • Provide supply chain support for Data Center Solutions/Silent‑Aire projects, managing purchase requisitions, bids, and vendor interactions. • Conduct data analysis, price comparisons, and prepare spreadsheets to secure favorable pricing. • Maintain and audit vendor files, price lists, and ensure compliance with SOX and purchasing policies. • Assist with receiving reports, invoice processing, and continuous improvement of supply chain systems.

What You Bring

We require a two‑year degree in purchasing, supply chain management, finance, or a related field, along with 2–3 years of purchasing experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting and preferably SAP experience. Candidates must demonstrate intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to travel up to 10% and work in a PPE‑required environment. Preferred qualifications include eligibility for SCMP, APICS, or ISM accreditation, experience with SAGE 300 or similar inventory systems, and financial acumen for sourcing electrical and mechanical components. • Required: 2‑year degree in purchasing, supply chain, finance or related field. • 2–3 years purchasing experience in industrial/manufacturing, SAP experience preferred. • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong verbal/written communication. • Ability to travel up to 10% and work in a PPE‑required manufacturing environment. • Preferred: eligibility for SCMP/APICS/ISM accreditation, experience with SAGE 300 or similar inventory systems, financial acumen for sourcing electrical/mechanical components.
