About the Role

The position involves managing projects that include building enclosure inspections, testing, air-leakage testing, construction quality-assurance observations, roofing assessments, design-specification review, field performance testing, and commissioning consulting. You will also conduct occasional field and laboratory testing, interact with senior staff, prepare reports and proposals, maintain a client database, manage budgets and invoices, mentor staff, and promote a safe workplace with proper PPE use. • Conduct inspections, testing, and assessments of building enclosures. • Perform air-leakage testing, field performance testing, and roofing assessments. • Provide construction quality-assurance observations and design-specification reviews. • Deliver building enclosure commissioning consulting and occasional laboratory testing. • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and maintain client databases. • Manage project budgets, invoicing, and mentor junior staff. • Promote workplace safety and proper PPE usage.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a B.Arch, M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by NAAB, or a BS in Engineering, Building Science, or a related ABET-accredited degree is preferred. At least two years of relevant building enclosure consulting experience are required, and IIBEC certifications such as RRO, RRC, REWO, REWC, or RBEC are encouraged. • Hold a high school diploma/GED; preferred B.Arch, M.Arch (NCARB), or BS in Engineering/Building Science. • Minimum 2+ years building enclosure consulting experience; IIBEC certifications (RRO, RRC, REWO, REWC, RBEC) valued.
