Field Archaeologist (Field Based)
Conduct archaeological field surveys and excavations for ERM in BC/YT.

About the Role
• Oversee field studies, lead reconnaissance, surveys, and excavations for archaeological projects. • Visually inspect land surfaces for archaeological and historic built resources. • Ensure compliance with corporate Health and Safety policies and perform other assigned duties. • Represent ERM in communications and meetings with provincial, territorial, and federal agencies.

What You Bring
• Hold a degree in Anthropology (archaeology focus) or Archaeology; 0‑3 years of survey and impact assessment experience. • Completed a field school in archaeology is preferred; prior field school experience is a plus. • Ability to work outdoors in variable weather, varied terrain, and on a 2‑weeks on/2‑weeks off rotation. • Willingness to spend extended periods in the field and adapt to remote locations.
