About the Role

The Scale House Associate ensures efficient customer service and safe operations at a WM facility, managing transactions and maintaining communication with management. • Greet customers, direct traffic, and answer questions accurately. • Calculate customer payments correctly. • Inspect incoming loads to ensure safety and prohibit prohibited materials. • Enforce the use of required personal protective equipment for customers and employees. • Perform general upkeep and maintenance of the scale house. • Complete administrative tasks, filing, and required reports. • Keep supervisor informed of any issues requiring attention. • Attend company‑sponsored training sessions and meetings. • Work overtime as needed and perform additional duties such as data entry and minor customer service tasks. • Approach all interactions with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
