About the Role
The role focuses on fabricating electrical and electronic enclosures. The employee will perform set‑up, machining, welding, grinding, and other fabrication tasks while following SOPs, maintaining quality standards, and keeping accurate production records. • Learn, teach, and collaborate across functions to support the fabrication team and company goals. • Participate in continuous‑improvement activities to meet customer needs. • Follow all safety procedures and report hazards promptly. • Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized. • Notify leaders of equipment, material, inventory, or documentation issues. • Set up production equipment according to SOP/MOP documentation. • Position materials and tooling to match print specifications. • Operate machinery per production documentation and move materials as required. • Maintain production equipment and supplies needed for operations. • Meet performance standards to achieve production schedules. • Ensure products meet nVent’s quality specifications. • Record transactions and maintain inventory balance using computer systems. • Perform rotational tasks such as grinding, press‑brake forming, welding, and spot‑welding. • Use safety equipment including glasses, hearing protection, and protective clothing.

What You Bring
• Minimum high school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of manufacturing fabrication experience. • Knowledge of manufacturing practices and metal fabrication. • Ability to operate welding equipment, resistance spot welders, TIG guns, stud welders, press brake with NC controller, and material‑handling devices.
