About the Role
Job Summary: Responsible for supporting warehouse operations by performing a variety of tasks including loading, unloading, order picking, shipping, and material handling. Ensures products are accurately prepared for pickup or delivery, secured for transport, and handled in a safe, efficient, and dependable manner. Nature and Scope: Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non‑routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor. Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment, with detailed checks by a senior coworker or supervisor. • Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport materials within the warehouse and yard. • Securely package items for shipment or pickup using shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods. • Verify product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping. • Install protective devices such as bracing or padding to prevent damage during transport. • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety policies and procedures. • Assist customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders and locating materials. • Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed.

What You Bring
Work Environment: Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for periods exceeding 60 minutes, and make repetitive movements. May require overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Education and Experience: HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0‑2 years of experience in the area of responsibility. • Demonstrate basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures. • Exhibit strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. • Possess physical ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lb) and perform repetitive motions. • Work effectively in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
