About the Role
The operator will be responsible for moving material within the quarry, performing equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. • Operate haul trucks to transport shot rock from the pit to the crusher during night shifts. • Drive additional quarry equipment such as dozers, excavators, front‑end loaders, and dredges when assigned. • Conduct daily pre‑operation and post‑operation equipment inspections and complete the required paperwork. • Perform routine servicing and maintenance of equipment under management direction. • Adhere to company policies, OSHA/MSHA standards, and environmental safety regulations. • Identify and promptly report any maintenance issues to supervisors. • Work overtime and weekends as needed and collaborate effectively with the crew. • Participate in a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
