About the Role
You will work closely with the BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure project compliance with policies, processes, and timely implementation. You will develop engineering drawings—including basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, and component details—from sketches and design information, adhering to established standards. You will manage all BIM‑related activities from project start‑up to completion, review drawings for readability and QA/QC standards, and create parametric and non‑parametric families while meeting LOD requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate on coordination issues, perform clash detection using Navisworks, produce clash reports, and extract schedules and quantities from the model. • Collaborate with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure project compliance and timely delivery. • Develop engineering drawings (arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details) from sketches and design data. • Manage BIM activities from project start‑up through completion, following QA/QC standards. • Create parametric and non‑parametric families and maintain Level of Development (LOD) compliance. • Conduct clash detection with Navisworks and generate clash reports. • Extract schedules and quantities directly from the BIM model.

What You Bring
We are seeking a BIM/CAD Modeler (Utilities) for our Dubai, UAE office. This role supports the delivery of utility projects through advanced BIM and CAD practices. A diploma or degree in civil engineering and a minimum of five years CAD drafting experience on wet and dry utilities projects are required. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Autodesk Civil 3D, and ACC BIM workflows is essential, as is a solid understanding of BIM processes and Level of Development (LOD) requirements. Clear communication in English is also necessary. Preferred experience includes working in the UAE or GCC region, familiarity with Common Data Environments such as ProjectWise or BIM360, and prior use of Navisworks.
