About the Role
The intermediate Environmental Planner will join the Infrastructure business in the Greater Toronto Area, working alongside senior team members on a variety of municipal, transit and federal environmental assessment projects. The role involves contributing to impact studies, preparing reports, and coordinating project consultation activities within a multidisciplinary team. • Support senior Environmental Planners and mentor junior staff on municipal, transit and federal EA projects. • Conduct report writing, alternatives evaluation, impact assessments, and develop consultation programs for infrastructure projects. • Prepare proposals and serve as client liaison. • Coordinate subconsultants and lead EA processes.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates bring at least three years of relevant experience and a post‑secondary background in planning, environmental science or a related discipline. They demonstrate strong organizational, communication and technical writing abilities, as well as knowledge of Canadian and Ontario assessment processes and infrastructure stakeholders. • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a degree in planning, environmental science, biology, geography or related field. • Strong organizational, communication and technical writing skills. • Working knowledge of Canadian Environmental Assessment regulations and Ontario infrastructure projects (MTO, Metrolinx, TTC). • Membership or eligibility for RPP (Ontario) and MCIP (Canada); French language a plus.
