About the Role

The Facility Executive – Technical role ensures that standard operating procedures are followed and achieves 100 % compliance at the site. You will understand the engineering design and operational aspects of the facility’s systems and equipment, recognize shortcomings, and respond to operational and emergency situations. Maintenance checks must be performed according to client scope, SLA and KPI. The position involves overseeing preventive maintenance, risk and safety work practices, energy‑conservation inspections, and pre‑emptive maintenance programs. You will train on‑site teams, support service delivery, conduct audits, and maintain compliance with fire, health and safety standards and emergency procedures. Additionally, you will manage the equipment database, drive utility‑cost reduction initiatives, and contribute to monthly reporting for the client. • Ensure planned preventive maintenance follows schedule. • Implement and manage risk and safety work practices to minimize operational interruptions. • Conduct regular inspections for energy conservation, maintenance, utility and risk management. • Execute pre‑emptive maintenance to avoid sudden equipment failures. • Train on‑site teams on equipment procedures and implementation. • Support service delivery teams with equipment upkeep. • Monitor compliance with procedures and update as needed. • Manage audit programme to minimize risk exposure. • Maintain compliance with fire, health, and safety regulations. • Keep emergency, crisis management, and business continuity procedures current. • Ensure health and safety induction for service teams and contractors. • Maintain equipment database for the site. • Develop innovative programs to reduce utility costs and increase productivity. • Initiate strategies for measurable energy consumption improvements. • Assist with churn and project work. • Contribute to monthly site report for client.

What You Bring

Applicants should hold a tertiary qualification in property, building or facilities management and possess strong people skills for vendor interaction. Demonstrated experience with tendering, service improvement initiatives, and knowledge of EHS requirements is required.
