About the Role

• Ensure compliance with company policies, IMS, and governance. • Order information, verify data, and prepare activity and resource schedules. • Review tender documents and provide commercial input for value‑engineering reviews. • Estimate, negotiate, and adjudicate with third parties; support project teams on go/no‑go decisions. • Identify and evaluate new revenue streams and business opportunities. • Prepare delay and disruption programmes and manage sub‑contracts, including monitoring activities and issuing notices. • Track commercial progress, issue early warning and risk registers, and manage compensation events. • Conduct constructability analysis and develop procurement strategies and programmes. • Analyze rates, variations, and maximize project entitlement and overall contract value. • Perform monthly valuations, final accounts, post‑contract settlement, and defect management. • Manage contractual disputes, prepare and negotiate claims as needed. • Oversee cash‑management processes such as debt recovery, retentions, and cash flow. • Produce internal commercial progress reports and financial reconciliations. • Lead HR/people responsibilities, maintain personal development plans, and support team development and recruitment.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our London projects team, working across a large portfolio of commercial clients and delivering commercial excellence throughout the project lifecycle. • Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field. • Minimum 7 years progressive experience in commercial management, contract negotiation or similar roles. • Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and relationship management. • Experience in financially driven commercial environments and business growth. • Proficiency with CRM systems and contract management tools.
