About the Role
The Maintenance Technician at The Lotus at Starkey Ranch supports residents by ensuring quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, and expedited service. This role is accountable for delivering personal attention and superior customer service, responding to residents' service needs promptly. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments—painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs—and addressing resident requests with professionalism. The technician must have knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and snow removal, while also maintaining grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities. On‑call scheduling may be required for after‑hour emergencies, and all maintenance concerns are reported to the supervisor. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (paint, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs) • Respond promptly to resident service requests with a professional attitude • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and snow removal • Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities • Participate in on‑call schedule for after‑hour emergencies • Report maintenance issues in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to supervisor • Follow fair‑housing regulations and safety procedures • Attend required training and adhere to company uniform standards • Read technical documents, perform basic math calculations, and write reports

Candidates must have a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical/vocational education, plus at least one year of related maintenance experience.
